Say “Hey” to my newest art collector, Kathryn Rehrig of Syracuse.
Kathryn saw my work at BANK Gallery in Sharon Springs and remembered The Beekman Boys post about my work on their blog- which featured the image Baby Steps- and requested a 10 x 10″ of Baby Steps (sold out in the 8 x 8″ series of 5 at Cherry Branch Gallery).

Kathryn now owns Baby Steps 1 of 5. There are 4 left, pm me for more info before the 10 x 10″s are gone, too.
Baby Steps is an iPhonic image of a Chickadee landing in my hand to feed on a cold winter morning. I had been feeding the Chickadees out of a bird feeder but had forgotten to feed them for a day, this little one started flitting about and tapping me on the shoulder to remind me to fill the feeder. Before I did, I thought I’d see just how hungry he was and held out my hand full of seeds. He landed promptly, grabbed a sunflower seed, again and again. I love these little guys. Alas, it is summer and they can get their feed in other places so no more tapping me on my shoulder as I walk the dogs. Yes, I held the iphone/camera in one hand and the Chickadee in the other.
